Trag, I'm sorry man. I love Shellac and I've enjoyed bonding with you about Albini in various avenues, but his twitter account is terrible. His approach, authentic as it is, highlights his worse tendencies when used on that medium. I think I prefer his opinions in long-form, when you can digest his takes along a big bowl of context. His tweets just make him look combative for attention's sake. It's the brevity and the frequency that make it feel that way, I think.

Still love that exchange with the Eve guy though. But then again, that whole thing played out like a long-form interview.

Just not his best medium is all I'm saying. Seeing this thread turning into a Steve Albini twitter feed does his musical merit a disservice in a subforum as esteemed as Word on the Street>>Other Bands.
