And I have to assume he doesn't talk with all those metaphors in everyday conversation lol. I think the metaphor thing is newer though, were there crazy metaphors on svt ?

Stone usually does pretty good. There's a pretty good one where explained thier choice to use target for backspacer. And he can be weirdly funny. But yeah, for the most part I think this band is more about the playing, rather than the talking about playing. I don't think any of them enjoy it all that much. Can't really blame them. And they could never do another interview again for all I care if theyre making good music.

Aaaand now I've put too much thought into some dudes interview proficiency. I should add that if anyone ever interviewed me, I'd make ed look like Shakespeare.
Stone uses the big wave metaphor on SVT.

I don't care whether they do interviews or not, but if they do, I would rather they didn't say ill-advised stuff that is very enlightening but in all the wrong ways. And if they don't want to do press, I'd rather they didn't send Brendan O'Brien to do it on their behalf. I don't think any of these things is "letting the music speak for itself." In recent years, they've been noticeably courting more press, but pretty badly on the whole.

And ed has been copying him ever since! It all makes sense. Every one wants to be like the Stoney Pony.

Can anyone else see LB being released a few days earlier than the official release date?

He became really good at it. He manages to do a good/entertaining interview without really saying that much more than the rest of them.

Also, its getting close, im kid of surprised at how little interviews have taken place with the band members....
I've translated and posted extracts of Stones' interview from the Italian version of RS.
No one gave a shit.
I gave two shits, you probably just didn't notice. Has that been put in the reviews thread?
no, since it was like a cliff notes kind of thing. Didn't seem archival. Interesting read though.

I'm still in the No Leak Club, but I've listened to all the vignettes, MYM / Sirens, and watched the short. I gotta say, I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. My hopes / expectations have definitely been raised. Looking forward to finally hearing this thing in a few weeks.

I think we've been trough this a couple of 100 pages ago. No matter what goes on with the band is Stone's DNA all over the place. Even all those songs "that belong on an Ed solo record" are filled with Stone's DNA. It isn't avoidable.

You might have to elaborate. Stone sweats / wanks all over Ed songs?

You took a picture of your dog's face AS you explained to her that the surgery had been necessary to ensure that she'd never, ever, in her whole life get to have children?

You really are a bastard.

You'd have to ask the guy who was complaining about all your negative posts. He educated us on the issue.
