So many great vocalists out there. But if Ed just quit, I would love to hear the guys record an album (probably with a different band name), with Stone singing.

It’s a project studio shot. Very well could be writing for #12, but I doubt they’re anywhere near tracking for an album

Its probably Matt using the JA Signature Bass that he has received as a gift from Jeff. It says JA * MC. I bet there are JA * EV, JA * MM and JA * SG outside there.

But could be the 12th. It's weird that we had no public reaction from anyone of PJ about Earthling.

is EV pushing watt on the band?

they just made a very good album with evans, and now eddie is running around telling everyone that watt is doing the next one.

i wonder how much band discussion, if any, went into that call

Ed’s the established leader of the group. If he’s feeling inspired by Andrew Wottman, I’m not sure any discussion is warranted.

I think you are right, but that doesn’t sound like the best situation for the band or the quality of their music.

well i certainly hope it wouldn't be some autocratic decision, but more of a "guys we're going to try this and see how it works." I'd like to think he's humble enough that if it's not working, he'll be willing to compromise.

Juliett Alfa and Sierra Golf don't take direction from Echo Victor.

I have to imagine the other guys in the band know Watt. He’s posted pictures backstage at PJ concerts.

Also, Gigaton was written in small batches here and there with only a few guys present at a time. I’m guessing this is all normal.

I absolutely don't believe this is the band dynamic.

Even if Ed seems to hold a very large (arguably oversized) influence over the band's decisions in recent years, I don't think anything happens that Jeff and Stone aren't ultimately onboard with.

I agree it's weird that Ed keeps publicly insisting this guy is going to be producing the next Pearl Jam record - maybe it's a bit of an empty promise, given that's probably seven (or more) years away, going by past performance.

It's probably Boom's idea to go with Watt.
