I think PJ keep getting asked about influences because people are just desperate to find out that they still have any.

I remember about five years ago reading an interview with Ed or Mike about how they were listening to a lot of "experimental" music and named Sigur Ros. PJ should do a Sigur Ros cover album, it would be great for Boom.

I've love to hear Ed try and pull off Jonsi's vocals

Yup 30. I feel really shitty about it too.

Be glad you at least made it this far . I am half your age older and really like this age. If only I was a bit more in shape and a bit richer, but those are details.

on limited listens i like it the best out of it, sirens LB and FD, but that will probably change when i get to hear the studio LB and get a few more listens of sirens.

I would rather take ocean metaphors than corporate business ones. They were dark days in PJ land when they were talking about "efficiency", and choosing between corporations to represent them as part of an ethical business model. I was fast going off PJ at that point, not so much with ocean references.

I'm watching the video now (thanks for the accessible link) and it's good; not amazingly substantial but it's good to hear the band sounding like human beings instead of programmed robots for a change. When Jorge said that the dog was the best thing about the video, I have to confess I thought he was trolling, but honestly, he was right; that dog is hilarious. Also, the clip of MYM at the end of this video sounds so much better than the one I downloaded, it's not even funny. The bass and bass drum is so much more punchy. I'm guessing that reflects the album version, which has me more excited for it.

I loved the dog pictures as well, and the birds. We have cats. Dave met them last year . Oh, and I do not know the band members pets names, or children's birthdays. Some people do.
