I like "Glorified G"; it's been a favorite on Vs from the get-go, but against the wonderfully unique "Rival" it quickly gets outmatched. I think there's a third contender in this match, but it's hiding in the locker room while the real songs brawl.

I actually really enjoy all 3 of these but Rival's getting my vote easily enough.

Man, I just listened to "Glorified G" and totally got transported back to the summer of 1995 when I first discovered PJ, circling the neighborhood on my bike while listening to Vs. on my walkman (I realize this is a questionable traffic safety practice, but in 1995 who could cast such stones?). Some of these old songs don't really hold up compositionally for me against what came later, but man, there is definitely a feeling there that I'm glad is bottled up for reference. Granted, that feeling isn't enough to get me to vote for "Glorified G" over "Rival," but it might be enough to get me to vote for it over something else from my most treasured era. Not sure what exactly at the moment -- maybe "Gods Dice?" "Mankind?" "1/2 Full?" Riding the positive vibes regardless.
Voting for "Rival," but probably listening to Vs. today.

The first time I listened to Binaural was on my discman while riding my bike and doing my paper route. When Rival started I jumped off my bike because I thought a big mean dog was coming up on me.Kevin Davis wrote:(I realize this is a questionable traffic safety practice, but in 1995 who could cast such stones?)
