I wish podcasters would find a better method than Patreon. Which takes a hefty chunk of their income from subscribers Dunno why they don’t just use PayPal. Or even revolut. It would Be far cheaper for listener and host.

CBBW, at least, is using a service called Memberly. I've never tried it before, but I guess I'll find out on Friday.

What are your fav. episodes of Maron's WTF pod? I enjoyed Norm, Danny Trejo and Pitt + DiCaprio. Rick Rubin was okay.

Looking at you, Trag.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Big news in the podcast world today: Jad Abumrad is leaving Radiolab.

Even though it started as a radio show, this will always be one of the OG podcasts for me; it was even the only podcast mentioned in the first post of this thread.

Listening to Armchair Expert. Brené Brown is the guest and she's talking about how narcissism is underpinned by shame more than any other personality disorder. "It's not grandiosity, ya'll, it's shame."

That's soooo fucking interesting.

Yes! I've enjoyed the ones I've listened to. Harvilla is pretty passionate about 90s music.
