Eddie Vedder - Earthling

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

Really like this set of lyrics. The sentiment is spot on.

Absolutely.

I took a drive with Earthling and it all finally clicked with me. I'm moving my 3 stars to 4 and it might climb to 5. The production is still an issue, but everything else is hitting really well.

I suggest each of you listen/watch the Zane interview, all the way through Andrew and Josh. Many of you have said it well, but something special happened for our guy and we are lucky it did.

Just watched the Zane Lowe interview. My favorite part: Chad Smith banging the table saying "It should be fun!"

It also makes how life affirming Earthling is all the more poignant when you add Mark to the Seattle death toll

he was SOOOO good - amazingly prolific so there are some dud but when he was on few were better.

Check out Bubble Gum, Blues Funeral, Field Songs, or Whisky for the Holy Ghost

Or Sweet Oblivion or Dust from the Trees

Ditto. There are a handful of songs on that album that I adore.
