Tomorrow after work, I could add an extra detour? what is some steamy summer music i can listen to that has a relaxed hypnotic tempo that would help me keep going?
Honestly, you might need some Kenny G.

Too cold to run outside today, 30 and windy. Did 30 minutes and 3.29 miles on a treadmill.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

5k in 28:34. I’m disappointed as it felt like it’d be in the high 27:00’s or low 28:00’s

Beethoven was very interesting to run to.. it made me feel triumphant even though it was not my best effort.. and the other songs were just good and took my mind off the struggle of missing a few running days. thank you!

I was unfamiliar with kenny, so I played it on the drive home. I did need some Kenny G. Sometimes I do run to Japanese jazz or sade so it wont be too unfamilar!

Welp, I got picked for the Brooklyn Half Marathon lottery. Looks like I'm running a half in May.

Better start training.

Congrats Joe. That's fantastic. You've got plenty of time to train. What plan will you use, or will you guide yourself?

I don't have a training plan. I've done it enough times now that I'll just guide myself.

Should be fun. I haven't done a half marathon in a long, long time.

Last long run of the training block early tomorrow AM. The distances are not bothering me, but I'm really over waking up before dawn in chilly, wet conditions to get these runs done.

Regardless, I hope you invite us along for your weekly runs leading up to this.

4.48k in 25:25. Out too fast and in too slow but I’ll take it. Did some hard snowboarding yesterday and my legs were feeling it before I was out the door.

Went for a wee run this morning. Up north visiting my whanau, and it somewhat hotter up here than I'm used to. Run felt flat mostly. Haven't run much at all this month, coming off sickness and the heat.

Did 8.4km in 53 minutes

Solid weekend, everyone. The weather seems to be turning for the better.

On my long run Saturday, I caught the morning commute of the local pelicans. For nearly two hours I watched them clock in and dive for fish in the fog covered murk of the bayou water. Couple of rabbits crossed my path into the brush at some point too. I hope I didn't intrude too much.
