I never remember what "Cready Stomp" is, so that's out by default. Just gave it a quick listen, and it's not really anything special. It feels like a fairly generic riff, though it's possible a fully developed song could have been better.

I really like "Quick Escape." The Zeppelin-esque swagger isn't something the band has dipped into much before, and the lyrics take an interesting twist on the old Eddie trope of traveling to escape something. The ending solo, while perhaps nothing impressive on a technical scale, is also loads of shredding fun.

"Happy When I'm Crying" is emblematic of the kind of band that Pearl Jam can be when they're entertaining and flexing every aspect of their creative DNA. There's weird little samples in the background, a fuzzy head-nodding riff, just the right amount of dissonance, and a bit of Jack's percussion work beyond the standard drumkit. I won't be mad if "Quick Escape" wins, but for me, it's "Happy When I'm Crying."

I mentioned it in another thread recently, but Quick Escape's bridge and how it launches into Stone's (I think it's Stone, at least) bizarre solo in the middle of the song is one of my favorite moments PJ's put on a record in a long time. The song as a whole nearly matches that moment, and I think it deserves to go a bit further.

That part is awesome. I'm a sucker for sorta muffled/distorted dialogue in the background of a song.
