I thought it was about time this board had a Mitski thread. Really surprising there isn't one already considering how much folks here love St Vincent, PJ Harvey etc.
After a 3-year break from music, Mitski has a new album coming out on February 4, 2022 called 'Laurel Hell', and I for one am excited.
She has released 3 singles from it so far and each one has been an absolute slam dunk
'Working For the Knife' is probably my song of 2021 (unless I'm allowed to count Radiohead's 'If You Say The Word' ).
So many of Mitski's excellent covers and other rarities aren't available on streaming services, so I thought six albums in was as good a time as any to pull together a digital rarities compilation. Enjoy!
