Awesome game to watch. Wish I could have been in that stadium. Man, the USA is building up one hell of a special fan base right now. I hope we can keep this going. I do think we will.

I've really enjoyed watching this team develop and make so many improvements and progressions. We have a high ceiling and we have the right people in place to reach it.

Loved hearing the story about Bradley. The guy is a warrior/general.

Ever cross with your dragging foot, guys? Dempsey has mostly been ineffective in MLS so far though. Lot of flair just for the sake of it...

Thank god Sunderland fired that nutcase di canio, hopefully they can bring in someone who can at least be of some benefit to Altidore's development..

Anyone know what league cup games are on the telly? Arsenal.com seem to have some cushty deal with the pay tv companies that they won't say on their website when a game's on terrestrial...
So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.

Soooooo how great were Arsenal last night?

Beat a strong, unbeaten Italian team without really breaking into a sweat. Still got the likes of Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski and the Ox to come back. Özil is a god and making everyone else up their game. Exciting times.

Not doing too badly. If we can combine the 1st half of 2010-2011 with the 2nd half of the seasons since...

If we win our next 3 which is very doable we can go into the double header against Liverpool and Man Utd full of beans and if we then pick up 4 points in those 2 games I will begin to start thinking of lofty heights.

If you can get to January without Giroud, Mertesacker or Koscielny getting injured and you bring in some reinforcements I'd say you have a shot at the title. I still have a feeling that Chelsea will come roaring to life soon and win the league, though.

Yes, we are certainly lacking for strikers, a Giroud injury could derail us immensely. I am being very cautiously optimistic at the moment. I agree Chelsea could run away with it if Mourinho stops unsettling everyone (and actually convinces their strikers they can score goals).

To be honest, I'd take finishing 2nd or 3rd but above Man Utd right now. :D

Right with you on that last bit. I should be frustrated on our flip flopping between 3rd and 4th, but when I was a kid (and this was before we started competing with manu for the title, and Liverpool and leeds for champions league places, and before abramovic) if someone said to me "1 day, we'll pip spurs to a place in the European cup on the last day, 2 seasons in a row) I'd have laughed in their face.I've only just got your name btw :haha:

I've been a bit more spoiled. The first season I remember in full was 94-95 (Nayim) so I've been at it nearly 20 years and I think that's the only season we've finished behind Spurs since then. I've actually only managed to build up a hate of Spurs in the last few years because I considered them quite insignificant before then.

And the name, yes I came up with that a few years ago, thought I was extremely clever and funny and began using it (and still do) for email ads etc. Unfortunately I was unaware that the name had been used before by cross-dressing comedian Kenny Everett and so occasionally older people mention that and think it's and ode to him. Which is... awkward.

I thought that was it, we could kiss goodbye to winning anything for decades. My 1st Arsenal memory? The FA Cup semi in 91...

To be fair we could've slumped after the mid nineties and Wenger not only prevented that but propelled us to new heights. I'm glad to say I've never really doubted him (questioned a bit at times, maybe) over the past few years and that's turning out to be a good call at the moment.

We've qualified. That's already better than the last 12 years. Let's not go too far. Yet. :)

I like Lukaku and Dembele a lot, I will be pulling for them at the WC.....even if Hazard and Felani are a little bit on the douchey side...
