Just some of the material has gotten weaker. In My Tree, Present Tense, Lukin, I’m Open, even Res Mosquito are pretty minor

My eyes are hurting from reading this. In My Tree and Red Mosquito are definitive five star songs, Present Tense might be the song I would most like to see live. Lukin is a monster of a minute. I can understand I’m Open, but personally I have always been drawn to the tenderness of the song.

I drove down to 0regon with my dad and a bunch of his friends in the early 2000s for a football game. We’re all out to dinner at a steakhouse and my lasting memory of the trip is that I was just playing Cropduster in my head on a loop during dinner. Can’t explain it. I have an irrational love for the song.

On the other hand, some very well respected deep cuts on this board are songs that just never really clicked for me. Rival and Habit come to mind. Can’t explain it.
