I'm seeing this for my birthday; I can't wait

I don't have a massive investment in Batman as a franchise, I was brought up on Adam West and Michael Keaton, but I am all in on everything this film is, simply as a film

Much like Joker the bold is what I'm looking forward to, I am not interested in the extended world building of the Marvel endeavors.

yep; all of that "universe" stuff makes me worried about the next time we get a Daredevil film; I just want a DD film, like this is a Batman film; I don't want DD and Hulk in the Dank Bowels of Dr. Strange

Jorge, some people are talking about a weaker third act, with superfluous elements; did you feel that way?

I liked that it was different. We've been primed as an audience to expect certain things from a climax in these movies and this goes a different way. I liked it, it felt consistent with the movie's overall approach

The flare gun sequence. Absolutely loved it.

awesome, that's what I was hoping to hear! from what I'm gathering, this movie pulls from at least three genres of film (comic book, horror/thriller, noir), so to structure it in three acts seems like a great way to go, *almost* as if it could be like an "anthology" of Batman mini stories within a story; I love when horror movies do this ("Mandy" comes to mind) so I'll be looking to see what varied tones the parts go through, much more than if they "match up" in any preconceived way

I've only seen a couple of people mention it, but I'm particularly looking forward to the injections of humour I've seen in trailers and clips; just enough self-awareness of the Bat's campy history for me

I'm looking forward to a more fully fleshed out and sympathetic Catwoman, too; I don't think Reeves will abandon her darkness, but maybe he wanted to go from the opposite direction and get us on her side first; I like that, given how often we see male characters get that treatment (*cough* Walter White *cough*)

I'm assuming we'll get sequels and the characters will keep growing in some ways we recognise

breaking bad literally means turning into a bad guy.. walter white absolutely had to start off as a normal, likeable guy.. that's the entire point of the show

I saw it. It's three hours long, and there is a lot of Batman in it. It's cold tonight so I flipped up the hood of my jacket just before I left the theatre. I felt like Batman on my walk to the car

I was thinking, what should I wear when I see it? I don't have any Batman stuff; maybe I'll just smudge my eyes with black or something

Definitely wear something that will make you feel like Batman while you're leaving the theatre. Really added to the experience for me.
