I'm getting really into this guy

I still haven't clicked with any songs as much as "Traveling Alone" and "Cover Me Up"; both songs make me cry, absolute magic

I really enjoy every release from Isbell, both before and after getting clean, as well as his work with the Truckers but Southeastern is nearly flawless to me.

I was going to say that utilizing mccready so little as they did was maybe a mistake, but then i quickly remembered that isbell is PHENOMENAL guitarist.

Isbell is probably top 5 artist for me. Really doesnt put out much stinker work. All solid and his band is fantastic. Always a great show.

Southeastern seems to be a big favorite for a lot of fans. It's really solid but I still prefer several other records to that one.

Something More Than Free, for example, really clicks with me on a profound level.

But I just don't think there's a wrong answer here. All his stuff is great.

Like taking in a live show or listening at all? If it's the latter, did you happen upon any of his time with the Drive-By Truckers?

My boss really pissed me off yesterday. He was talking my ear off when the email for the new album came and I didn't get one of the test pressings I was really hoping for. Oh well.

There are new tour dates. The code WEATHERVANES worked on the "artist presale" that started this hour.
