Listen to his Marc Maron interview. They go over the whole genesis/original intent/studio debacle/distancing thing from that project. It's pretty interesting.Mecca wrote:huge WTFturned2black wrote:I watched Pootie Tang for the third time the other day and realized Louis C.K. wrote and directed the damn thing. WTF?
I'd be lying if I said I knew where the relevant material starts, but it's a really interesting interview anyway.

Re: Louie
Speakin of, that episode where he goes to apologize to Marc and he's like, "yeah, great, so in ten years you're going to do it again?" I honestly don't know how he does it but the show is just amazing. The Christmas episode, where he's trying to get the doll fixed? I was on an airplane watching it and trying to contain my laughter was somewhat difficult.McParadigm wrote:Listen to his Marc Maron interview. Re: Louie
I've never been a huge fan of his stand-up. But what he's doing with his show is completely brilliant. It can't be overstated.
In fact, I would rank Louie above Breaking Bad on the "best fucking show ever" list.

Maron has a show on IFC that is pretty good. I dig his pod casts. I don't find him laugh out loud funny but he is an interesting cat.bune wrote:Speakin of, that episode where he goes to apologize to Marc and he's like, "yeah, great, so in ten years you're going to do it again?"
