Go is a great song, no question. But this feels like it could be Release's year - and Release is the best version of what it is. I'm not sure I'd say that about go. In fact I wouldn't. At the very least Animal and Last Exit are adjacent, and better.

Geezes. Go is absurdly good but actually listening to it after Release it doesnt hold a candle for me.

Nothing else should be listened to after Release. The end.

For me, I think the band equaled what they were going for in Release at a few other points in their career (not many, though), but I'm not sure that they ever did what they're doing on Go better than they do it on that song.
