I think this an excellent point. While it's easy to dismiss PJ as simply an extension of "classic rock," the fact that it was (and still is in my opinion) done by down-to-earth people who shared our fears and questions about the world is exactly why we all became so invested in it.

Ha! Oh well. You know what though, I'm 34 and work with kids in their early 20s and a couple of them are starting to get into PJ. One happened to see PJ20 on PBS and it got him into the band, so is it possible that PJ are cool or "vintage"?
He keeps on talking up Yellow Moon, it sounds like it could be great. Here's hoping it delivers.
My hopes are a little down for Infallible lately, I hope it surprises me. And wtf is My Fathers Son!? Probably the most intriguing song for me right now.

Theoretically, the youth of today are the children of the grunge lovers. I think we are finally seen as 'cool' again, and rightfully so.

Sort of like how for a while there in 2005-10 all the teenage boys were teasing their hair up big and wearing lipstick with midriff shirts with pinball imagery on them.
