Black and Indian students have been refused permission to enter Poland. There’s several black Irish and Indian students trapped in Ukraine still among many.
Also the UK has only accepted fewer than 100 applications for family reunification visas. They aren’t taking any refugees only ones that apply if they have family already in the UK and they’re being refused entry at ports in Calais etc in France to travel on to the UK.

I am far more worried about western propaganda, which actually affects me and everyone I know, and is backed by truly immense power and wealth, and dwarfs anything a pitiful Russia (which of course has propaganda of its own) could hope to manage.

Don’t think Russia is pitiful. It’s a very powerful country, with a large population. I have high hopes for them, and look forward to them getting out of these dark times.

Nevertheless, it’s a worrying path they are on. I do fear it will further escalate, the way things are going. That doesn’t mean nuclear war, I still think that is a long way off.

Awful to read about this. A real problem in several Eastern European countries with racism, but made a lot worse because of war. Surely as a victims of war themselves, they should be able to help others in trouble, irregardless of creed or the color of their skin.
