What is the earliest worldwide release date for this? October 11th? Which country/continent is getting it first?

We are scheduled for the 11th as well, and that is on a Friday, so I guess the album can be bought at some places on the 10th. Since Australia is ahead, maybe earlier? And the best 'leaking' country is Italy, so let's wait and see. Tomorrow is good for me as well, since I have Fridays off :).

When's the LA listening party? I'm guessing it will leak that day.
For some reason, 10/3 is the date that's springing to mind. Not sure though.

I just enjoyed the darkness of it, and I thought I did a pretty good lead on it. I worked hard on that; it's kind of a simple lead but I wanted it to give the song some brightness, kind of like what David Gilmour always did with Pink Floyd.
I hope that doesn't mean he added a bright 80s solo to an otherwise dark/mellow song.

Hmm mike stopping short of complaining about BoB hmm

It was a private shindig for the press, I think.

Yes, no fans were invited. We only found out because Dennis (enimmi on this board) asked Brendan O'Brien if there were any more, and then he replied with "yes, tomorrow in London at the Art Club". Friends tried to get in as soon as they knew, but to no avail.

What, no prize winners like they've had elsewhere? We just don't get the love in the UK that even mainland Europe appear to get.

Mean people. That is why I have a 'mean people suck' sticker on my car. I bought it in 2001 in Seattle in the 1 dollar store.

No, it was his girlfriend who played violin on Future Days. As you can read in the Q&A with BO'B reviews, all instruments on all other songs were played by PJ and him.
