Disney has been mum about pretty much anything related to Obi-Wan Kenobi, but with roughly three months to go before it hits the streaming platform, its marketing campaign is expected to begin in earnest soon. This could be kicked off by its first trailer which is now rumored to arrive next week, on March 9, according to Making Star Wars. The outlet cites an anonymous source who showed them images from the actual clip to back up their claim. That being said, the site also shares that they previously heard a rumor that Lucasfilm could be dropping the anticipated trailer on May 10. Regardless, either of these dates suggests that it will roll out sometime next week.

DO YOU REMEMBER where you were on March 11, 1999? It might not sound like the most important date in the universe, but in the history of Star Wars it was when the first full trailer for The Phantom Menace was released on StarWars.com. Considering how close this was to the movie’s May 19, 1999 release, it seems unbelievable now. And yet, with Obi-Wan Kenobi, it’s possible history is repeating itself.

So, there you have it.
