I have acute disdain for it.B wrote:I don't think there is a general disdain. I think there is a general enjoyment with some weaknesses that have been pointed out, mostly around structure and focus.

I hate to say it and I know it won’t be popular but the 5th episode was my least fav tbh.
Very slow moving. And I’m no amy Sedaris fan.
The run thru beggars canyon was cool.
I lost my shit when R2,Luke,Grogu,Ahsoka rocked up. But then cad bane vs Cobb floored me

Even if one doesn't like the second half of the episode, everything from the opening to Din landing on Tatooine is stellar. Just the first part is the episode is the best episode of Fett.
But six was great too.

Yes, that was an episode of a completely different and superior series called "The Mandalorian."Got Some wrote:I don’t get the hate for this tbh.B wrote:I don't think there is a general disdain. Re: The Book of Boba Fett - Disney+ 2021
Following the success of “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian”, Disney has announced that on Star Wars Day, May 4th 2022, a new Disney+ Original will be released called “Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett”.
This special will explore the behind-the-scenes story of the legendary bounty hunter’s return to Tatooine with mercenary Fennec Shand, seeking to claim the territory once run by Jabba the Hutt.
In this insightful new special, filmmakers, cast and crew reveal never-before-seen footage, groundbreaking technology and the practical effects that brought it all to life.
I watched the 6th episode again the other night.
Sublime. But I loved the entire series tbh.
I’d love a second season.

I love it's like they made a great, groundbreaking show. It's just BOS footage and some shitty interviews.Got Some wrote:Following the success of “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian”, Disney has announced that on Star Wars Day, May 4th 2022, a new Disney+ Original will be released called “Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett”.

I watched the series a second time with the wife and loved it.
It’s not as good as Mando but I loved Santi and The rancor.
Cad Bane rocking up was the balls

Yeah, it really made me feel sorry for the Rancor in Jedi. A gentle but easily startled (like rhino/elephant) creature that was exploited, who Jabba didn't give a stuff about. Maybe Luke could have avoided killing it if he was already a Jedi, albeit a really advanced one.Got Some wrote:I watched the series a second time with the wife and loved it.

So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.
