LOL who the fuck are you? The absolute audacity of you people!

Mind your own business. how fucking hard is that?
Impossible for those with a hard on for totalitarianism.
They think of themselves as the saviors of all mankind, so they can't do anything wrong even if they have to force people to make "good" decisions (as defined by them, naturally). It's pathological.
Just trying to reel in the chaos, man. So you can have nice things like the internet or art supplies.

Nah, but I do understand the basic need for representative leadership and majority rule to ensure a society functions. It’ll take a lot more than seatbelt laws for me to venture into the Alaskan wilderness.

I don't know how you got on this tangent about all laws being bad or good, but have fun arguing with anarchists.

I'm always down to argue about seatbelt laws with sanctimonious liberals. Please PM me if it comes up again. Doesn't matter what time or what thread. I will be there.

You should be saved from yourself with mandatory seatbelt and helmet laws. Same for mandatory vaccinations (I am not sure where I am on this one, lean towards mandatory for some and elective for others).
How about student debt for degrees with little to no payback? Do we limit what people can study post secondary and scrap the whole idea of forgiving student loans?
I figure any government that generates revenue from the sale of drugs and alcohol has absolutely no moral or ethical authority to outlaw people from make laws that prevent people from making stupid decisions that ownly harm themselves.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

There are no concrete answers, here. I simply take issue with this idea that it's always those pesky "liberals" infringing on your freedoms. There are conservatives in red states who are right now taking away abortion rights and dictating to schools what they can and can't teach. And hey, maybe some people agree with those ideas/laws, but it's not a principled argument if you only claim gov't overreach on the issues you personally care about.
