By someone else do you mean someone other than Shonda Rhimes? Because in that case I agree--I found the first episode absolutely interminable and almost turned it off for stylistic reasons alone, but it gets better after the tonally inconsistent, dopey worldbuilding drops away and you're mostly in the Anna world.

I gave up about halfway through the first episode, but stuck it out for my girlfriend - at the end she said she wasn't interested in continuing it either. Neither of us could get past her ridiculous, inconsistent accent.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Dunno if anyone else has said this already but Star Trek TNG is off Netflix as of 1 April, so there goes another reason to keep it
