I hate him for landing Dunst though. I've been in love with her since Jumanji.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm not especially happy about it, but I think I'm going to watch Deep Water tonight. No one is doing this to me, I am doing it to myself. I don't have high hopes but I do love Ana de Armas

The Nightingale - Man that chick was angry.
Downsizing - This started out with promise, but really took a downswing in the second act.
The Godfather - I admire this movie, but it's not going to crack any all-time favorite lists for me.

Watched Ghostbusters Afterlife and How It Ends (2021) on the plane out to LA yesterday.

Liked both.

I started watching Cutthroat island. I figured there is no way it’s as bad as it’s reputation. Lasted 5 min. Then I thought I’ll try the Eternals. Lasted 30 min. It’s been an unproductive day.

Competencia Oficial. Had a really good time with this one. Funny and well written with some great performances. I recommend it to Joe especially. Trailer

I still have like forty minutes left, as I only got through the first hour last night. I had a late start and got sleepy. So far, though, it's not bad!
