Spoiler: show
I think the ultimate plan makes sense in the mind of The Riddler; want to wash out the corrupt of a whole city and ultimately Bruuuuce... Waaaayne? blow the whole shit up and drown everyone; I think the isolated individual killings were only meant to lead Batman on a wild goose chase and, in the mind of The Riddler, act as a slow-burn recruitment strategy for Batman to join him; in the jail scene between them, we learn that the plan has not worked, and Batman stands *for* the city, while Riddler stands *against* it... KABOOM! the last scenes of The Batman rescuing civilians are so moving, I teared up
And they say that a hero could save us

yeah

we saw it in Imax, and because the only two wheelchair spaces were right on the front row, I feel like we didn't get the best sound experience in the room; there were bits of dialogue I missed, and moments where dialogue and what was supposed to be background sound design were muddy; I'm really looking forward to watching this again when it's available to stream

as soon as I got home I ordered a Hot Wheels (new) batmobile, because I'm a big child; I got it yesterday; it's dated 2020, which is weird and I guess reflects the Covid delays

How do we feel about the part where he waddled because Gordon and Batman left him in the ankle cuffs. I think it was the only gimmicky moment in the whole movie, other than maybe the Joker scene

Also the part where he went on at length about his outrage at the fact that Bats & Gordon don't know the difference between "el" and "la" in Spanish

Basically I liked everything about The Penguin
