How's it rank up to his other films? Which ones are most worth seeking out?

It's a solid movie. I really liked it, too. Not sure I'd call it devastatingly good. But it dug it.

Both Reprise and Oslo, August 31st are well worth watching. The latter has been considered his best movie until now.

Thelma is good in a different way, but flawed. I didn’t like Louder Than Bombs at the level of the others, it might be considered a bonus that it’s an English speaking movie though.

It's certainly no Pitch Perfect

Thelma is my favorite movie of his. I've only watched it, Worst Person, and Louder Than Bombs. Really like all three

I've watched quite a few movies in the past week or so.

Arrival - Beautiful and heartbreaking. 5/5

Annihilation - An interesting concept, well acted but ultimately nothing special. 3/5

'71 - I hadn't heard of this movie before today, but it was great. Very tense. 4.5/5

Dune - A true epic. I loved it and can't wait for the sequel. The score was amazing too. 5/5

Sicario - Excellent. Very tense. Another beautifully shot movie from Denis Villeneuve. 4.5/5

Blade runner 2049 - My least favorite of the Villeneuve movies I watched. My local theater is showing Blade runner The final cut on Sunday so I may go watch that and then take another run at it. 4/5

The Green Knight - A little perplexing at times, but it all came together in the end. I love the way England looks in this movie. All of the performances were great and it had a very good story. 4.5/5

The King - A well made historical epic with a stellar cast. 4/5

Just curious what you found perplexing about The Green Knight? I thought I had heard it's pretty straightforward, but I could be wrong.

Nice run of movies there. Big fan of '71 over here, glad you liked it. I've seen that probably four or five times now.
I like The King, too. I think it's underrated. I think it confused people because it is very much not Shakespeare but also very much Shakespeare and people weren't sure what to make of it? I don't know. I remember liking it a lot
