Dances with Wolves is OK at best. Probably a little below OK all in all. I haven't seen the other one

Deep Water.

Not good. Turns almost slapstick at the end. Ana de Armas is pretty to look at though.

What the fuck was that ending, so weird. That whole section of the movie felt unfinished, like they had to wrap before they actually had all the material they needed, and then assembled the movie with what they had.

I found some things to enjoy throughout but it all ends up feeling limp, pointless, and disappointing. Adrian Lyne is a weird director

Yeah, the whole thing is pointless. But Ana de Armas is just undeniable. I can see why she and Ben Affleck started dating for a few months after making this movie. They both speak Spanish, they're both good looking, they pretended to hump a lot in the movie. But I can also see why, much like this movie, it didn't work out in the end. This movie is very much like thier relationship. Kind of obvious but also very weird and destined to be forgotten

Those videos of Ben Affleck speaking Spanish always crack me up. He sounds like a drunk Mexican, it's amazing.

Nah. He's generally good in stuff lately. He's even mostly good in this. It's just the movie around him that is bad.

I don't like the idea of Ben Affleck, but I do always like Ben Affleck in movies. I don't know what this post means either, so don't ask me to elaborate

I saw a tweet the other day that said something like "all those years trying to sell Affleck as a leading man, when he's at his best when he's playing weirdos, villains, and sad sacks." I think there's something there

That Jacob Elordy kid must be freakishly tall, he towers over Ben Affleck in Deep Water and I'm pretty sure Affleck's like 6'4

Is Damon better than Affleck? I’m not sure. Probably
