I’m not saying it disqualifies, but if I remember correctly wasn’t Mickey a hotshot swimmer in high school?

lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Correct. Someone that’s already in shape somewhat I’m sure. Granted I definitely wasn’t when I started, but I still feel like it’s taken a long time to make gains.

All that being considered, I’d go with Argo
Challenge accepted. How long do I have?
(Does this disqualify me: circa 2015-16, I used to jog for 18-20 minutes every other day or so. It petered out through 2016-17 and I've probably gone jogging about ten times in the last four years. I don't think I've ever run 5k, but I never tracked my mileage.)

I don't have a lot of faith that I can do this. Maybe 32 minutes. 25 minutes is a big ask

It’s taken me like 20 months to get here tho.

I think I need another day off. Three days in a row is pushing it for me.

If you could get this done, Argo, I would strongly consider adding you back onto my RM friends list.

It's not outside the realm of possibility. I switched to AF beers a couple months ago and my weight magically went back to the level I'm used to. I had been living at about 140 since 2019, but I'm back to about 132 now. I do still feel compelled almost every night to drink one, but it seems to not be making me soft. I enjoyed running a few years ago, I just got out of it. I never had a goal in terms of time or distance (see: http://forums.theskyiscrape.com/viewtop ... 05#p917805). Let's see what I can do.
