If dad rock is uncool rock, count me as not cool. I also have no desire to be cool - this is what it is to be a dad in his forties.guitar_davey wrote:I'm a dad, I play rock music, and I am so here for all of it.Ms Harmless wrote:agreedliebzz wrote:I think dad rock is often thrown around as an insult, but nearly all rock is dad rock at this point.Coach wrote:stip wrote:Okay, I love Invincible. I think what the Haves is about is an investment gone tits up for himself and his wife. They are walking around Malibu feeling down on their luck and Ed muses that Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk cannot really be happy as they don’t have the love that Ed shares with his partner. The many blows you will receive today line is about having to limit private jet usage for the next 6 months for belt tightening purposes.
It’s raising awareness for the 99% within the 1% that have to struggle with these issues.

Interesting take and I look forward to The Haves Part II on his next album where the economy has taken a major downward spiral and our hero is forced to play at a bar behind a chain link fence similar to the Jeff Healey Band in Roadhouse just to make ends meet.Huell wrote:I think what the Haves is about is an investment gone tits up for himself and his wife. Invincible should have been on Gigaton. Fits in well with the likes of 7 O'clock.
