Just watched that one; they’ve done several stand alone, anthology type episodes before but was surprised they started the season’s run with one. Very much feels like an “Atlanta” episode though despite the cast not appearing other than Earn briefly at the end.
Look up “Devonte Hart” for the real life inspiration of the plot.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

tragabigzanda wrote:Loved the first ep. Second one was solid. I’m already tired of Van. Her tension with Earn hasn’t gone anywhere.
I kinda feel the opposite i liked Van in the new ep, her relaxed calm moment of ¨Its Ok¨ followed by the absolute horror of Tupac´s death. Its was hilarious.

Well see what how the season unfolds but i really loved were the characters are in this season so far.

i guess there are signs of Earn being a good dad, but an inconsistent one. Maybe a childish one too. I know a lot of guys like that.

They were alright at the end of season 2, i wasnt surprised with her going to europe. well still have to know what happened in the earlier year ( seems this tour is the second one of Paper Boi, while season 2 ended with them going for the first time)

I'm doing a season one and two re-watch. It'll probably take another week or so, then I'll catch back up with you. This show is so good

I may do that too. Or at least have them playing in the background while I work. I was so pleasantly surprised by the show when I first tried it. Just not at all what I expected, but beyond that it’s just so f’n great.

I'm not gonna stand here and wait
