The only thing I can give will is that his wife fucks other dudes and he’s probably fucked up about that.

i'd imagine jokes about an illness get old quick, and it obviously upset her.

What's more, the live TV part is what makes it good. It would have sucked so bad if he hit Rock off-camera at an afterparty and we never got to see it.

What if Chris Rock posted a picture of a kid on a ventilator, without the spoiler tag?
Weak analogy for obvious reasons.

Look, my sphere of influence in this world is 30” tall and doesn’t even know how to tie her own shoelaces yet. My view is that people’s need to project their sense of justice onto a couple celebrities they’ll never meet is a bigger symptom of our collective sickness than whatever happened at the Oscars last night. It made for entertaining clickbait while I was brushing my teeth I guess.
I am not making an analogy I am making fun of you.

It’s not about the sanctity of live tv. It’s the fact that the entire world is watching and he threw a violent temper tantrum like a child. The. Went up there and spoke about love. Nothing to do about protecting the image of the oscars or whatever else.

I wonder if jada smacked will later that night for laughing at the joke. Probably not. Maybe just went and cheated on him again. They’re so in love

That would have been ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as the time a barback I once worked with called the police and attempted to press charges on a bartender who wouldn't stop poking his nose with a bar spoon and saying "boop" during a shift. (true story)
I hope that dude was fired
Yes, he was.
What about the serial booper? Hope he got his ass kicked...or at least slapped.
Wait. That’s to whom I was referring.
That's who I understood you to mean.

The booper actually went on to open a successful tiki themed bar.

Balding is not an illness
then replace "illness" with "hair". the point still stands.

I have a giant skin tag on my lower back that people recoil at the site of. Is that an illness? Could be malignant. So what? Laugh at it all you want. It looks ridiculous.

There's a pretty big gap between wanting to hit someone and actually doing it, and then another gap between doing it and doing it on live TV.
Co-signed.
have either of you actually ever hit someone, though?
I was attacked twice without provocation (14 and 20 years old), and I did not hit back either time. The first time I wrestled my class mate to the ground, but still found his attack very upsetting. He was a troubled young man. Life has not turned out well for him. I did press charges the second time. It was shocking, from two guys I had never met or talked to, that suddenly attacked me. The friend I was waiting for came, and we managed to walk away from the situation. Got a black eye, and went to the police in the morning. Have probably been other situations in my life, but these are the first to come to mind, and I have not hit anyone.

Oh. I thought you were talking about the boopee who called the cops and got himself arrested for warrants.
I’m pretty sure Reid thought so too.
And I thought I was responding to Reid up there. Sorry for the confusion. So embarrassed I could slap someone!

I'm not sure that's fair. She's not a gazillionaire celebrity at her husband's side at a rewards show. They're fair game for stupid jokes. The joke wasn't even harsh. "uhh gonna be in GI Jane 2.. uhh cause of the hair!" "yup, hee" is the only reasonable reaction here. "Uhh.. cindy crawford has a mole.. uhh"... "yup"...

If you call simply pointing out the length of my wife's hair "making fun of", then yeah, I'll show you a picture and have at it
