Death on the Nile. I enjoyed this. Not as good as Murder on the Orient Express, but still fun

Joker

beautifully shot with some fun setpieces, but really thin on the ground in terms of story; left me cold in general

The Batman has it beat if you're looking for a comic book story with nuance and depth

I just finished The Power of the Dog.

I was wrong about Cumberbatch. He was fantastic and the movie was excellent.

I'm finally going to watch the Godfather this weekend. The local theater is showing it and my mom wants to go so I'm going to go with her.

I saw the Godfather on the big screen some 20 years (or so) ago because it's my Mom's favorite movie and she wanted to go.
