This is my thought process. I do not know the history of black women and hair. I did not consider this when reading into Chris rocks joke because it is not a deep or profound joke. It is actually very simple and because I trust that Chris Rock is not a racist asshole trying to put down black women at the Oscars I assumeIt is irrelevant. But I will look into the black women and hair thing because now I am curious.
