Third ever version I’ve seen of this. Have a feeling the first two were better, but we’ll see.
Saw this on HBOMax, might watch it just because it's there but not expecting much, really.
I'lll watch it. But I'm gonna hold up a picture of Noah Reid's face to cover Armie Hammer's every time he's on screen.

I love Poirot though, grew up watching the Ustinov movies and the Suchet series.

I'll tell you what I'm NOT watching: "Cyrano", because it's not available to stream in my country yet! I desperately want to see it

I'm excited to see it, too. Dinklage is inspired casting.

I feel that way about all Joe Wright trailers, but he often surprises me. He doesn't make the type of movie of typically like, but I like a lot of his movies anyway. I'll look at Cyrano someday

Absolutely. I've long been a huge fan of the original play (even got to perform the role a long time ago). I'm so excited to see this take on the piece.

also the story is I think from the late 1800s, so it's not going to look shockingly original

similar to how Robert Eggers' The Northman is looking to some people like it's formulaic and uninspired because it looks like The Lion King or Hamlet; both of those movies are based on the same Viking saga
