Are you not not going to watch the Oscars this year?

Thank you, again, for this. There is a very real chance I'll reach out to you soon. It's something I've wanted to have an honest, good faith conversation about. Thank you.

It goes beyond kilts, though.

This is all will to power. None of you are free from it. You have not escaped from Nietzsche.

I think a dry fart that happens 20 minutes after eating is fresher than a wet fart that happens 32 minutes after eating.

I’ve worn a skirt before. It was one of those lower body-hugging pieces that went to my feet. Very constricting. I would’ve much preferred a loose, free flowing number.epilogue wrote:I do not. No offense intended, I promise you. I know this is a fully loaded, triggering topic, and I have nothing against trans or any sexual orientation, you have my full support in how you live your life. But what is wrong with stopping at "guy who identifies as girl"? Why is that taboo?Ms Harmless wrote:in trans speak: if you're a "guy" who "wants to be" a girl, are you a girl? yeah, why not? unless you decide you're not
if you're a "guy" who thinks being a guy is kind of shit actually, are you nonbinary? yeah, if you want; it's a valid nonbinary narrative

I own two dresses; I was harassed on the bus while wearing one of them, so I hardly wear them now; jeans or jeggings are my default, but I wish I felt freer

Re: Are you not going to watch the Oscars this year?
there are people who do, as well as bi-gender people, who are both guy and girl; but it's bad practice, and dangerous, to use that language for others without their consent; a person's gender is what they say it is, that's all we need to knowtree_ wrote:No offense intended, I promise you. and a whole other discussion around how cis people get to just *be* a guy or a girl, while trans people are lumped with "identifies as" language; it's othering
it took me years to have the courage to say "I am a woman" to anybody; I spent a while before saying I "identified as" because it felt safer for me and less controversial to other people

Again, you have my full support, but I just get hung up on language and definitionsMs Harmless wrote:there are people who do, as well as bi-gender people, who are both guy and girl; but it's bad practice, and dangerous, to use that language for others without their consent; a person's gender is what they say it is, that's all we need to knowtree_ wrote:No offense intended, I promise you.
