Why are you assuming I'm not aware of a woman's plight? I've known plenty of women, including my wife, who've told me plenty of horror stories. I was simply judging by your lack of context, that there was nothing you mentioned in your story that warranted a slap.

Well, if a person just goes around willy nilly slapping people, I would say that's a very silly way to live
how about this context? A woman is at a posh party, she flirts with a guy she finds attractive, she says I want to go on a date with you tonight, he says OK, they spend hours together, laughing, they kiss, hold hands for a while, SLAP. She has split personalities. She had no idea who this man was next to her. Did the guy deserve the slap?
