I believe it was the 11s Reid was super horny for. Not sure if he tried the 12s, but yeah I was thinking about doing that.verb_to_trust wrote:I've been reading the Kinvara 13 is basically the same as the 12. You can probably score some 12s on sale. I got fitted and tried Guides at first, but they were just too heavy for me. I do need support, so had to find something more neutral. I want to try Kinvara's next.

I just realized my 4 miles today was barely faster than last Saturday's and now I don't feel as good about myself.

Re: The Running Thread
I've got 371 miles on the 11s and 94 on the 12s, including the race I did. The 11s are more cushion than the 12s, but I've learned to love the firmness of the 12s for tempo/speed days. Since I can't find 11s anymore, my Altra Riveras have been filling that cush void quite nicely. The 11s still have life in them, but for daily trainers I now prefer the more fresh Altras. Going from 4mm to 0mm drop isn't so bad.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I believe it was the 11s Reid was super horny for. I liked the 11s better, but one thing I love about the 12s over the 11s is the tongue. It's thin and slides on like a gussetted glove.
Haven't tried the 13s yet.

I don't think I can go back to high drop shoes. Even for walking. Wrecks my back, which sucks because I'm really limiting myself for what's out there.verb_to_trust wrote:The 10?! Absolutely! The Adios 6 is my Adidas shoe now!lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Those Bostons sucked.

Re: The Running Thread
I'm super annoyed by stack height. The Adios is even too much for me but its the best adidas can offer me right now. I hope the fad dies out but I doubt it will.washing machine wrote:I don't think I can go back to high drop shoes. Even for walking. It only seems to be a problem on flagship shoes, really.

Is it Altra’s with he wide toe box? I’m not crazy about their look.

Yes, but they've gradually made it look better, especially on their road shoes. That wide box feels great, by the way.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Is it Altra’s with he wide toe box? I’m not crazy about their look.

Yeah I hate white shoes.
Just wanted to show Lenny that angle on the toe. Not clown shoe-y like Altras have a reputation for being.
