A lifetime ago, a very young Lament had his own brief moment of unbridled rockin' out passion in this Primal Scream video, at around the 3:34 mark. I'm not on the same level as those people in the Weld video, but I'd like to think I could at least hang with them...
I don't know why, but that video is the first time it really hit me how much older ed is from when i first started seeing him on tv back in the day.
All that video has done is re-affirm my weird fascination with the way Ed says the word "appreciate". Every time I've heard him use that word it's stood out for me for some reason, it's almost like he rushes it because he has some mild speech affliction and he's nervous he's going to mess it up. I'm sure that's not the case, it might be an accent thing but I've never noticed it with other Americans.
