man Caldato was wonderful. I love also his solo albums.

He likes to keep it clean.

Mike Doughty's done a bunch of work with him, as well. Whenever I read him mention Mario's name, that's the first thing that comes to mind.

Been listening to this quite a bit the past few days, and #1 and #3 would be my main criticisms of it. I like when they do mellow, but much of the middle of the album has a samesy-ness to it. Maybe, its just the lulling intros of a lot of these songs?

Probably could've made this an 8-10 song album.

Oh he's aged, albeit gracefully.

I remember thinking he was quite an attractive man when I saw him in the liners of One Hot Minute. He's got a certain look now, to be sure, but I wouldn't exactly call it a youthful one. Leathery features in the face, and that mustache isn't doing him any favors if he's trying to trick his phone into thinking he's still 26.
