I know nothing about this band. But you've mentioned them several times over the last few weeks and now I have to check them out.

Surprise album drop from Duster today! Well, not quite a surprise, as they had a countdown going on their website ending today. It's called Together and it's out through Numero Group who have handled all the Duster and related reissues over the last few years. It can be obtained on Bandcamp now (with physical releases shipping in the summer) or streamed on any of the usual platforms.

New Camp Cope is really great.

New Band of Horses is good, too. Upon first listen, I don't think it holds up to the first three. But I enjoy it.

I’ve listened to this a lot. I’ve really come around to it.

Wet Leg album drops tomorrow, that should be fun. But I'm really looking forward to the Horsegirl album in June.

And one more from me - what a late career gem :luv:

Probably their most consistent album yet - I really love the Cure-esque feels of the last few songs :nice:

Man, I saw calexico once about 20 years ago and it was incredible. Never spent enough time with their studio stuff after though.

I need to remedy that

Calexico were one of my favorite bands in the 2000's. I've missed their last couple albums -- the last one I have is Edge of the Sun -- but they have so many good songs. John Convertino is one of my favorie drummers ever. Feast of Wire should probably go in the "albums with great drum sounds" thread.

The new Alt-J kind of sucks. I held out a glimmer of hope that this would be a return to form, but the sad reality is that it's been a long time since they released anything noteworthy.

Friendship with Alt-J ended etc.

I got halfway through that Wet Leg album and gave up. Not sure why they are this sensation. They sound like any other modern rock band singing about nothing.
