I can't help wondering whether, given that Stone quote about the new album "alienating people like No Code did", this album could've been it.ABNorman wrote:Stone: "Maybe there's another No Code in us".

Hopefully they decide to go this route for the next one. It seems like Stone is definitely willing to give an album some breathing space. It could turn out terribly, but it could also be awesome. They've got a couple of "accessible" albums in the bag in their late career now, it'd be a good time to throw something like that out there.harmless wrote:I can't help wondering whether, given that Stone quote about the new album "alienating people like No Code did", this album could've been it.ABNorman wrote:Stone: "Maybe there's another No Code in us".

They even talk about power chords and double choruses and all those things 'we' discussed here! Great

I also liked the "no power chords" thing Jeff (I think?) mentioned about MFS. Intriguing.

Definitely. But I just think BoB will fight against that too much. That's what this album is going to be, like a tug-of-war tussle between PJ and BoBABNorman wrote:Hopefully they decide to go this route for the next one.
