i really need to dive into the new one and also, the previous one. But damn if Jack is such a compelling artist, not only with his music but his record label, store, bar..everything.
I havent finished his interview with Zane but it was so interesting.

And only possible after the last one. It's so similar that I still marvel at how people hate one and love the other. But I'll take it! Just as long as you're listening to a Jack fucking White!i got bugs wrote:Wow this is actually 7 thousand times better than the last one

The last one was all over the place n it was like jack forgot he played guitar.. wierd tracks are ok when mixed in with actual songs, but they can't hold up like 7 straight on their ownepilogue wrote:And only possible after the last one. Am i the only person in the world who loves Boarding House Reach? I think that weird ass album is very enjoyable. I love all the freakout stuff, and hear a lot of it on the new one. Actually the new songs span his entire career and all his bands.
I dig it.

I can't stand the sound of Jack Whites singing, he should have just let Q Tip do all the vocals.

From his solo output, I think I prefer BHR and Blunderbuss. But those are both A+ records to me. Dawn could get there. We'll see how it ages. But either way, I fucking love it right now. Great, great record.

Finally listening to the new one, WOW.
This guy is something else...so much creativity pour into this one. And his guitar playing is in another level, i mean the textures, the sounds...just amazing.

I love that bit in the middle of That Was Then, This is Now where he sounds like a 90s band for a few seconds. I can't think of another time where he sounds like that.
