Where Does Your Hidden Smile Lie?

costa is in a small group of filmmakers who’ve never made a bad movie

That looks like a movie that's right up my alley. Maybe I need to finally sign up for that free trial of mubi

Snake Eyes - I kinda like this one. The beginning is great, the middle is pretty good, and the end is trash. Cage was great as expected!

Bangkok Dangerous - This wasn't that hard to sit through

Camille

The last of the most famous Greta Garbo movies I hadn’t seen (14th I have seen). Visited the city and the neighbourhood she grew up in for the first time this week as well.

I loved the green knight but the story left me a bit confused. I read some explanations and love it more now

This was the same with me. I enjoyed it even more the second time after reading up on the original story a bit.

I'm still not sure what those giants were all about though.

Same. It was a real grower.

Last night I watched There Will be Blood. What a masterpiece. I don't think I can think of a single better performance than Daniel Day Lewis in that movie. Incredible.

I think they might’ve eaten him if his fox friend didn’t stand up for him

Also watching San Francisco alone, about halway through. Will finish when possible, probably in the morning.
