If Verb can get past Mama Cass' BMI I think this one could go all the way.

That BOC tune is actually incredible. I don't even want to know who dislikes it.

this thread has actually taught me that I *really* like Blue Oyster Cult; I love discovering new old bands in 2022

I'm currently listening to a Best Of and they remind me of a lot of more modern Stoner / Prog rock and metal

I've probably mentioned this before but I saw them play the K after a Royals game back in the day. It was a really great afternoon.
I think you have. Jealous!
I saw Huey Lewis in 1988. My first ever concert -- I was 5. Belinda Carlisle opened. I don't remember much of it but I do remember him coming out and opening with "Jacob's Ladder" -- loved all those songs as a kid.

My first concert ever was this dude called Henry Lee Summer. I saw him after a Pacer's game. I also don't remember much, but I do remember dancing on the court. That was cool.

I see a lot of post sporting event concerts, apparently.

My first concert was Alabama here at the local university back in 1980.
