Im not saying Depp isnt flawed, or a drug addict or whatever....im saying that i feel Heard manipulated a lot of what was happening in order to become herself a victim of abuse, and it feels their relationship was fueled by a very toxic behavior coming from both of them

I do feel that media coverage hurt Depp career a lot. The Sun calling him wife beater was just awful.

If he had any wherewithal and wasn't at least partially to blame, he probably would've separated himself before it got to that point. Just looking at the video in the OP is enough evidence for me to know he could be quite scary.

i hear ya. like i said, i haven't read about and/or seen/heard her side. i've only watched that clip tree posted, and in it, he exhibits abusive behavior.

and sure, you can coax someone into behaving like a jackass. they still need to choose to be a jackass.

i'm not really sure what the media is supposed to do other than report a story. they did it with all the other abusers...

ya know, another thing i can't stop thinking about is the notion that Heard should've left, or could've left Depp long ago. i think that's easier said than done, especially from an outside perspective. people in toxic and chaotic relationships often don't know how to leave or feel that they can. a big part of staying or going has a lot to do with self-worth.

it's easy for us to armchair quarterback this thing, and say she should've left.

she got all her entourage to live for free in various of Depp´s houses. It doesnt seem she didnt know how to leave.
