First Saturday morning without working overtime in a while.
Going to mom’s this afternoon. A neighbor is having birthday cookout (he’s in his late 70s and a widower, it’s really his family throwing a get together as the neighbor was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a few months ago) so it will be nice to see some of people I grew up around.
There’s an out of office work social a little later but I don’t know if I would go to that even if I could be in two places at once.
I don’t know what but I’m definitely planning on going out tonight, even if it’s just a bar or two.

we're good friends with a neighbor and she's turning 60 today...my lovely wife said we would have a get together at our house today for her..her kids, and even her mom will be here and a few other people...how many people are going shit in my house today?

I just changed the waiting room channel from BET to Sixers/Raptors. Also crushing some Funyuns.

assembled an ikea couch for my MiL, fixed her bedframe, brought some things she didn't need to goodwill, and hopefully going on a walk soon.

Cleaned a bedroom suite we got from my grandmother’s after she passed a few months back after taking Mrs Wease and the youngest Weaseling to their car wash fundraiser. After I finished cleaning, I took the car over for a quick wash and brought them home. Then we dropped youngest and a friend off at a birthday/pool party and went to Lowe’s to buy a new door for Mrs Wease’s closet. I will install said door while Mrs Wease paints the previously mentioned bedroom suite. Then at 5, I get to go pick up the Weaseling and go take her to her new mowing gig. Which means I’ll get to do all the weedeating and probably some of the mowing.

I’ve already told Mrs Wease I am NOT cooking tonight.
