I want to go see The Northman and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent this weekend.
And they say that a hero could save us
I'm not gonna stand here and wait

This was the same with me. I enjoyed it even more the second time after reading up on the original story a bit.

I'm still not sure what those giants were all about though.
The scene with the giants was another opportunity for Gawain to show his dishonorable nature. Rather than take on his quest himself, he wants a ride. He wants someone to take him there. He wants the easy way out The fox (Gawain's a mother in disguise) bails him out again.

The Northman. It was pretty good. Maybe I was expecting too much, but it was fine...

7/10

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Pretty good also. Kind of a low rent Adaptation, but the two leads are just great, and it has a nice throwback vibe. A few cringe moments and a few funny ones.
