Irrelevant.
it's not irrelevant to the point that TDK is pretty much all he's remembered for and I think that's ridiculous

he was a good performance in a not-very-good movie; Dano is a good performance in an equally good movie

Hell, he even got more screen time.
he was just about the only thing the movie had going for it, he was its biggest gun, of course he got lots of screen time

But it is irrelevant to the discussion of Dano's Riddler vs. Ledger's Joker.

I think Nolan’s bane is even a better villain.

I haven’t seen the new one yet, and not sure how I’d rank Bane vs Ledger’s Joker, but I do think Bane deserves more recognition than he gets. That was one really badass character.

I meant better than Dano. I liked his performance, but hardy edges him out.

Bane is the best thing about his movie. Absolutely ridiculous voice and look. I love it

Dano’s was derivative of Ledger’s. The interrogation scene felt like a rehash of TDR.

I don’t think The Riddler was better than Ledger’s joker in this movie, but the movie itself was fantastic. Very different from the previous versions.
