Re: Talk about your day thread
Today was a day to remember bit was Little League day at the M’s game and about half our team went. Great group of parents and kids which have mostly been on the same team 3 seasons in a row. Just a beautiful day at the ballpark. I really thought the kids would be bored and we’d head home after about 5 innings. Man was I wrong. It started with a “parade” out on the field pregame, a couple people bounced early, but most of us stayed through 9, it went to extras, a couple others made it through 11, and I am shocked to say my boys were in it til the bitter end. M’s won in 12, kids were well behaved, really my dream day at the M’s game.

I bought two for myself and the kids each a nachos which they’ve been talking about for weeks. One of them didn’t like the nacho cheese so he traded me a hot dog for a nachos.Mecca wrote:How many hot dogs you put back?Bammer wrote:Today was a day to remember bit was Little League day at the M’s game and about half our team went. Bathroom light went out (not bulb, wiring?), turned on the wrong stove eye when trying to heat water for coffee, then when I turned on the correct stove eye I accidentally set it to low instead of high, some dude almost sideswiped me, had a tuna wrap when I thought I bought a chicken salad wrap for lunch, just got scheduled a meeting that starts at 6pm ….
This day is shit.
This day is shit.

Had to install plug cover on a bunch of different outlets at all my centers today. The last one sparked and popped big time when I was unscrewing the actual plug from the wall box. Tripped the breaker. After I finished I flipped the breaker back on but I don’t think the outlet was working. I’ll find out in the morning if the freezer is defrosted when they get to work I guess. I still can’t figure out why it sparked. The screw isn’t attached to any of the wiring or anything.

Is messing around with electrics something you guys do regularly in the US? I've seen a few posts over the years about DIY electrical works and can never understand why you'd do that.wease wrote:Had to install plug cover on a bunch of different outlets at all my centers today. The only part I was doing anything with doesn’t have any current. I wasn’t getting into the wiring or anything. Just a couple of screws.Higgs wrote:Is messing around with electrics something you guys do regularly in the US?
