Guys, the very obviously wanted a cool shot of him emerging from the oil. I think that’s a silly nitpick considering the tanker gave him cover that hiding in a stand of trees wouldn’t. If I’m running from people tracking me, I’m going tanker.

Let me chud this for you: Yes you can hide in the tanker (and the oil thing was really cool) but that tanker will also stand out to your pursuers as the obvious hiding spot. Whereas with the trees there are hundreds of them. Good luck picking the right one.

all the obvious nit picking stuff i have (the oil truck being the bigger of them) i love this episode because the storytelling always grab me.

I also love how Kim is basically Saul at this point. She is is the one to actually put him in the cartel´s hands.

excellently made episode

it's becoming a bit too densely packed crime thriller for me, but I can't fault it objectively and hope for more of the tones I watch it for later

I find it entirely plausible that a human being in a life or death stressful situation made the marginally less rational decision and I don't think that reflects negatively on the show in any way.
